Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve paper conveyance property and ensure print productivity by shortening wait time for paper conveyance at the time of staple processing and provide a paper post-processing device capable of conveying a thick paper.
SOLUTION: A conveyance means conveying paper P discharged from a picture image formation device main body and carried into a paper post-processing device FS has a second conveyance roller means 32 feeding the paper P into an intermediate stacker 33, a first conveyance roller means 31 arranged on the upstream side in the direction of conveyance of the second conveyance roller means 32 to nip and hold the paper P and convey it to the second conveyance roller means 32, and a paper guide passage (h) guiding the paper P conveyed from the first conveyance roller means 31 to the second conveyance roller means 32. A pressing force change means capable of changing nipping and pressing forces of the first conveyance roller means 31 is provided in the first conveyance roller means 31. A control means controls in such a way that a plurality of sheets of paper P can be overlapped and conveyed simultaneously by the first conveyance roller means 31 and the second conveyance roller means 32 and nipping and pressing forces of the paper P conveyed by the first conveyance roller means 31 are changed.
