To provide a paper sheet arrangement device that can automatically arrange paper sheets, of which front and back sides and top and bottom sides are aligned in different directions, in the same direction.
In a paper sheet arrangement device, first conveyance/reversal means 2 selects whether to convey a paper sheet received from a receiving port 1A in a forward direction while keeping a position of a leading end thereof or convey the paper sheet in a reverse direction after reversing the leading end thereof, before conveying the paper sheet to second conveyance/reversal means 7. The second conveyance/reversal means 7 includes a first stage 3 and a second stage 4, and selects whether to convey the paper sheet conveyed from the first conveyance/reversal means 2 directly in the downstream direction from the first stage 3 to the second stage 4 in a curved manner through a first curved path 5, or convey the paper sheet in a direction orthogonal to the conveying direction from the first stage 3 to the second stage 4 through a second curved path.
