PURPOSE: To prevent such an evil influence as the moisture of a paper sheet is evaporated by the heat of a fixing section for forming dew condensation.

CONSTITUTION: Guides 15, 16 are severally provided on the rear stages of a heating roller 11 and of a pressure roller 12 which compose a fixing section. The guide is composed of pluralities of longitudinal plates 15b, 16b and of lateral plates 15a, 16a to hold the plates 15b, 16b. A paper sheet discharged from the fixing section is led along the edge faces of the plates 15b, 16b and carried. Thus, moisture evaporated from the paper sheet 4 attaches to the plates 15b, 16b as dew condensation, but does not come into direct contact with the paper sheet 4. In addition, an opening passing through vertically is severally provided on the lateral plates 15a, 16a for preventing the occurrence of the dew condensation and facilitating the evaporation of the prevent dew condensation.
