To provide a belt-reversing system paper sheet-conveying device capable of reversing and conveying a paper sheet without causing damage such as wrinkles with a simple configuration.
A paper sheet-conveying device 80 includes: a first belt conveyance section 81 in which the first belt 813 is wrapped around a first entrance pulley 811 disposed on an upstream side in a paper sheet conveying direction and a first exit pulley 812 disposed on an downstream side in the paper sheet conveying direction in a crossed belt state, and a second belt conveyance section 82 having a configuration similar to that of the first belt conveyance section. The first belt conveyance section and the second belt conveyance section are disposed crossing each other so that a conveyance surface of the first belt and a conveyance surface of the second belt are brought into contact with each other, and, sandwiching the paper sheet by the respective conveyance surfaces, convey the paper sheet while reversing it. The first belt conveyance section and the second belt conveyance section are disposed so that a curvature part of one of the belts and the another belt are spaced apart and an entrance nip or an exit nip is formed at each of linear parts at least at one of an entrance pulley section Pin and an exit pulley section Pout.
