The paper sheet delivery device comprises a paper delivery tray for storing printed paper sheets, a full-detection sensor 133 for detecting that the paper sheets stored in the paper delivery tray are stacked to the predetermined height, a printing control unit for performing the control to stop the printing according to the result of detection of the full-detection sensor, and a paper delivery number acquisition unit for acquiring the number of delivered paper sheets to be delivered in the paper delivery tray by executing the printing job in advance before the delivery. The printing control unit compares the acquired paper discharge number with the reference number to be determined based on the storage capacity of the paper delivery tray, and the number of the paper sheets to be delivered before the printing is stopped after the full-detection sensor detects the full condition while executing the printing job between when the paper delivery number by executing the printing job exceeds the reference number and when the paper delivery number does not exceed the reference number.
