To more accurately detect the sheet number of discharging paper loaded on a paper-discharge tray with a simple constitution without obstructing a movement of the discharging paper sheets.
An arm 22b of a discharge detection actuator 22 is arranged so that it is abutted to an arm 21a of a full paper state detection actuator 21 when it is rotated making a support point B as a center. At the time of discharge of the paper sheet, a paper-discharge actuator 22 is rotated by the paper sheet making the support point B as a center to push the arm 21a and the full paper state detection actuator 21 is rotated making a support point A as a center. Thereby, the arm 21a is retreated from a passing area of the paper sheet. After discharge of the paper sheet, the full paper state detection actuator 21 is largely displaced to take the state of pressing an end of the paper-discharge tray 20 by a self weight in the case where no paper sheet exists on the paper-discharge tray 20 as compared with the case where the paper sheet exists on the paper-discharge tray 20. A sensor is disposed at a position of the arm 21b in such a state.
