Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a paper sheet feeder which can separate and deliver a paper sheet regardless of the thickness of transfer paper sheet to be delivered.
CONSTITUTION: This paper sheet feeder, which is equipped with a separation mechanism for delivering only the top one of stacked paper sheets, is provided with a paper sheet feed member 13 which can be brought into contact with the top one of transfer paper sheets S and move in a transfer paper sheet delivering direction, and an oscillatable gate member 14 which is positioned on the front end side in the delivery direction of the transfer paper sheet S and is brought into contact with the paper sheet feed member 13 with prescribed pressure, and stop the front end in the transfer paper sheet S delivering direction. The gate member 14 is formed with an inclined surface 14A for oscillating in such a direction as a gap G which permits the top transfer paper sheet to pass between the gate member 14 and the paper sheet feed member 13 by the delivery force of the transfer paper sheet S can be set at an opposing surface to the transfer paper sheet S.
