PURPOSE: To reduce the size and to shorten the feeding time by separating the setting number of paper sheet at the feeding port of container box then carrying out collectively therey eliminating the temporal pool section in the discharge path.

CONSTITUTION: Bill 10 is fed out sequentially one by one from the feed-out port 13 of container box 11 through rotation of a separation roller 17 to ride the leading edge over the upper face sides of the separation roller 17 and a carrying belt 24 while to press the trailing edge against the lower face of an upper face plate 12 of said box 11. Upon completion of feeding of preset number of bills 10, a motor 30 and a solenoid 38 are driven to rotate the carrying belt 24 and an auxiliary belt 31 while to lower a touch roller 34 through a lever 35. In such a manner, setting number of stored bills 10 are carried out collectively to be transferred to a receiving pan 25. In other word, the feed-out section 13 will function as the temporal pool section of bill 10 thus to achieve the purpose.
