PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the appearance and quality of a prepared bound book are deteriorated because folding becomes incomplete due to swelling of a bundle of paper sheets when folding and processing the thick bundle of paper sheets composed of many number of paper sheets.
SOLUTION: In a paper sheet post-processing method in which a paper sheet S discharged from an image formation device A is stored in an accumulation part 70 and the bundle Sa of paper sheets which are saddle-stitched is folded and processed, a central part in the direction of conveyance of the bundle Sa of paper sheets which are saddle-stitched is pressed into a nipping and holding position N of a pair of first folding rollers while pressing the central part by a folding plate 82 to form the fold part a. The bundle Sa of paper sheets which are folded is stopped at a predetermined position, and the fold part a is pressurized by a second folding roller 85 movable in the orthogonal direction to the direction of paper conveyance for running in order to reinforce the fold part a.
