Abstract:
To increase the capacity of a storage unit.SOLUTION: A paper sheet processing apparatus storing a paper sheet to be conveyed by a conveyance unit includes: a reel on which a first end side of a tape is wound; a first stepping motor for rotating the reel around a rotation axis of the reel; a drum which takes up a second side of the tape with the paper sheet and constitutes a wound material with the tape and the paper sheet; a second stepping motor for rotating the drum around a rotation axis of the drum; and a control unit which changes a distance between the paper sheets to be wound on the drum by controlling rotation of the first stepping motor and the second stepping motor on the basis of a parameter indicating a state of the wound material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
