Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent any trouble in a bank note conveyance and to enable provision of a bank note cassette adapted to the width of each of kinds of bank notes having different widths, so as to prevent any obstacle owing to skew of a bank note moved during payment by correcting irregular arrangement in the direction of width of paper sheets (especially bank notes).
CONSTITUTION: An independent conveyance part 7 extending at right angles to the conveying direction of bank notes and movable in a horizontal direction is provided. A sensor 16 to detect a conveyance position in the direction of the width of a bank note is arranged in a conveyance part 5 at a stage followed by the independent conveying part 7.
