PURPOSE: To provide reliable paper sheet carrying force while being comparatively small and hardly generate skew, catching and carrying jamming, etc., on the paper sheet.
CONSTITUTION: A paper sheet P fed in a paper sheet reverse turn device pushes up a reverse turn claw in compliance with the enter to the first guide surface 12a of the reverse claw 12L energized by a spring 65 in the direction by which an end part 12c is crossed in relation to the peripheral surface 11a of a carrying roller 11. When the rear end of this paper sheet P passes the reverse claw 12L, the end part 12c is returned back again to the position crossing in relation to the peripheral surface 11a. Here, when a reverse feed roller 14 and a knock roller 15 are rotated in an arrow mark direction and the paper sheet P is reversely carried in an arrow mark direction B, it is guided to the second guide surface 12b of the reverse turn claw 12L and led to the paper discharge port 63, etc., of a paper sheet after processing device. The resistance of the end part 12c given in relation to the carrying of the paper sheet is little due to a taper off shape.
