Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably carry out positioning of a separation pawl for preventing a paper sheet from rolling in a roller with a simple mechanism.
SOLUTION: This device, provided with the transferring roller 5 for further transferring an image being transferred from a photoreceptor drum 1 surface onto a paper sheet 9, the cleaning roller 7 held in press contact with the transferring roller 5 for performing a cleaning of the transfer roller surface, and the separation pawls 8 for preventing the paper sheet 9 from rolling in the transferring roller 5, is allowed to perform the positioning of the separation pawls 8 with respect to the transferring roller 5 by the cleaning roller 7. The transferring roller 5 is, the roller whose surface consists of rubber material. The separation pawls 8, plurally arranged in the lengthwise direction of the transferring roller 5, is respectively held in press contact with the cleaning roller 7 with a spring.
