Abstract:
To miniaturize a paper sheet storage device.SOLUTION: A paper sheet storage device (banknote storage device 9) comprises one or more tape reels 921, 922, a drum 93 for winding paper sheets together with tapes 941, 942 pulled out from the tape reels, and a first motor (reel motor 95) configured to drive at least the tape reels. The drum is arranged such that an axis thereof is parallel to an axis of the tape reels. The tape reels and the first motor are arranged to at least partially overlap with each other when viewed along the axis of the tape reels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
