PURPOSE: To facilitate the taking-out of paper money by spreading the upper part for the paper money by installing a control means which positions a floor in the lower part on taking-in and positions the floor in the upper part on delivery.

CONSTITUTION: When paper money is transported to a discharge port, a floor 7 is transferred to an upper part position, and a back-up 2 is transferred in the release direction and clamps the paper money. Then, a shutter 15 is opened, and the paper money is delivered. When said delivery is completed, the shutter 15 is closed, and the floor 7 and the back-up 2 are returned to each original position. When the paper money is taken in, the floor is at a lower part position, and the installation of the detecting sensor, etc. is not obstructed, and since the floor 7 is transferred to the upper part on delivery, the paper money can be easily taken out.
