In this method, a paper bottom guide member 6 is installed so as to be integrally moved with a sucker head 4, and when a sucker 3 is reached to an optimum reference position to suck a paper end, the paper bottom guide member 6 is installed in a position in contact with the rear end of a sheet 2. Likewise, in order to prevent any side run-out of the sheet 2 piled, a crosswise paper guide member 7 is made to contact with both symmetrical ends of the sheet 2. The amount of each travel of the sucker head 4, the paper bottom guide member 6 and the crosswise paper guide member 7 is delivered to a control means such as potentiometer or the like of various adjusting members as it is, thereby interlocking it with individual regulating movements of these adjusting members.
