Abstract:
To provide a sheet loading device which can be loaded with sheets that partially have a thickness and have the small width with the excellent alignment property.SOLUTION: A sheet loading device includes: a loading tray on which discharged sheets are loaded; a pair of alignment members 519a, 519b which aligns the sheets in the width direction crossing the direction of discharge of the sheets loaded on the loading tray; alignment member movement means which moves at least one alignment member 519b of the pair of alignment members in the width direction; and control means which controls the alignment member movement means. The control means controls the alignment member movement means so that the alignment member 519b on the side facing a flap part F moves to a prescribed regulation position for regulating an envelope E when the sheet is the envelope E having the flap part F having a folding-back portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
