Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper transfer device which accumulates sheets of paper so that positions of paper end parts coincide with each other while inhibiting enlargement of the device, and to provide a bookbinding device.SOLUTION: A paper transfer device includes: a paper supply part; a table 1110; a contact member 1106; and a front alignment plate 1196. The paper supply part discharges sheets of paper 8A toward the table 1110. The sheets of the paper 8A, which are discharged by the paper supply part and dropped, accumulate on the table 1110. The contact member 1106 contacts with a rear end part 18 of the sheet of paper 8A which is discharged by the paper supply part and dropped toward the table 1110. The front alignment plate 1196 contacts with a front end part 15 of the sheet of dropping paper 8A and restrains the sheet of the paper 8A from moving in a front direction relative to a first restraint position.
