Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a paper-transparentizing agent not containing a chlorine- based solvent, excellent in transparency, without showing any stickiness at the surface of a paper, not interfering with the recycling of the paper, having a penetrating speed to the paper in a similar degree to that of the conventional solvent type agent and capable of being used in a conventional facility.
SOLUTION: This paper-transparentizing agent is an aqueous emulsion type agent for a paper of an envelope with a window, obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. rosin-based resin having carboxyl group, 1-20 pt.wt. surfactant, 30-200 pt.wt. water, 10-100 pt.wt. hydrophilic solvent having hydroxyl group and 2-20 pt.wt. trihenylphosphate.
