PURPOSE: To vary a wing area and an aspect ratio and to increase a speed without varying the mounting angle of a wing by forming a plurality of suspension cables, suspended from both sides of a wing body, as respective second maneuvering cables through a third riser independently from an original maneuvering cable.
CONSTITUTION: In a paraglider 1, three suspension cables 23c fixed to a direction stabilizer 21d are removed from front and rear risers 25 and 27 and intercoupled as second maneuvering cables 3a through an engaging ring 3b mounted on the one end of a third riser 3. The other end of the third riser 3 is coupled to a joint part 29a of harness like the front and rear risers 25 and 27, and a player is suspended therefrom. When the right side of the second maneuvering cables 3a is pulled down, a wing body 2 is bent at right angles along the direction of the width of a wing and bank (rightward inclination) occurs to the right wing of the wing body 2, whereby the paraglider 1 is turned to the right as a gliding speed is increased.
