PURPOSE: To provide the parallel control method which makes processing efficiently and enables speedy operation.
CONSTITUTION: The initial operations of the respective X bar 2, Y bar 4, and Z bar 6 of an XYZ table device such as origin returns are controlled by subroutines X, Y, and Z. A main program calls and control the respective subroutines in order. For example, the subroutine X is called first to send a start signal to the X bar 2 and call subroutines Y and Z until a response signal of its processing is returned, thereby performing the processing as to the Y bar 4 and Z bar 6. Thus, the main program calls the respective subroutines in order to run the respective bars simultaneously in parallel, thereby making the processing efficiently. This invention can be applied to operation control over various devices such as arm operation of a robot.
