The parcel delivery and pickup box includes a body 1 capable of housing a package and a lid 2, a key 3 is attached to the lid 2, and then the key 3 is structured such that it can be unlocked by inputting a numerical value determined with the deliveryman. A space for holding a reception seal to be used by the deliveryman is formed in the inside of the box, and the box is arranged at the entrance of a house, near the entrance of an office or near the entrance of an apartment house. The body 1 is connected with a building through a connector such as a wire 8, and when the connector is cut off, an alarm housed inside the body 1 is controlled to emit alarm sound.
