PURPOSE: To obtain a paper for a fruit, capable of automatically performing the operation to pierce fruit with a fork and pull out the fruit from the fork and efficiently carrying out the paring of the fruit and having high safety.

CONSTITUTION: This parer for a fruit comprises each fruit receiving member 5 having an opened groove 23, a fork 41 capable of moving and passing through the opened groove 23 of the fruit receiving member 5 and piercing the fruit on the fruit receiving member 5 through the opened groove 23, a fruit presser capable of pressing the fruit from the opposite side of the fork 41 interlocking with the operation to pierce the fruit with the fork 41, a moving member capable of evacuating the fork 41 from the opened groove 23 of the fruit receiving member 5 and moving the fork 41 to a paring mechanical part 4 and a rotation driving source for rotating and driving the fork 41 in a state thereof moved to the paring mechanical part 4 and rotating and driving the fruit. After paring the fruit, the fork 41 returns along the opened groove 23 of the fruit receiving member 5 and then escapes from the opened groove 23.
