Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a profile automatically and properly by a method wherein a position of an inflection point for a height of a product and a moving quantity of a die necessary for controlling the thickness at the point are computed and a spline interpolation is performed for the point so as to produce a profile having a thickness of a parison.
CONSTITUTION: An extruding device 11 rotates a ball screw 3 by a servomotor 1 through a cup ring 2, adjusts up-and-down movement of a die 4 so as to adjust a clearance between the die and a core 5, and changes a thickness of a parison. The servomotor 1 is controlled by a servo controller 7 through a servo amplifier 6. In this case, to a setting/displaying device 9 equipped with a monitoring double-face 10, a height, an outer diameter, and a thickness of a product are inputted. By a programmable controller 8, a position of an inflection point with respect to the height and a moving quantity of the core 5 or the die 4 necessary for controlling the thickness at the point are computed, and a spline interpolation or linear interpolation is performed for the point so as to produce a profile having the thickness of the parison.
