Title:
PARKING BRAKE PULLING CABLE PERPENDICULARLY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004293643
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To assure a sufficient lever ratio by keeping well a connection state between a parking brake cable and a lever, with no use of a guide spring.

A coming-off preventing member 50 is rotated to an engagement position, where it is positioned by a claw 56. Since a hooking member 42 is held in a constant attitude in the recess 44 of a lever 32 to prohibit disengagement, the hooking member 42 cannot be disengaged from a cable hooking member 38 when a parking brake cable 40 is relaxed. The coming-off preventing member 50 is disposed to the lever 32 and rotated to the engagement position and an assembly possible position. So, assembly work is easily and quickly performed with no missing of article, compared to the case where the lever 32 is integrally attached after an engagement member which is separate from the lever 32 or the like is assembled to the hooking member 42, and further, the lever 32 can be lengthened for assuring a sufficient lever ratio compared to the case of using a guide spring.
