Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mechanical parking equipment capable of installing a gate and a balance chain without increasing the length in the entry/delivery direction of vehicles.
SOLUTION: The front struts 6a-6c are erected so as to position at both sides of respective vehicle housing spaces 3a, 3b in the vehicle entry/delivery directional view. The gate 11 is installed to put over the vehicle housing spaces 3a, 3b in the rear side of the vehicle entry direction of the front struts 6a-6c. A hanging chain 23 is fixed in the midway of the vehicle storage space 3a, 3b in the parallel installation direction in the gate 11, and is drawn in or payed out by the drive motor 25. A balance chain 31 is connectedly fixed to the upper part of the right end front strut 6c and connectedly fixed to the lower part of the central front strut 6b, and laid over between these adjacent two front struts 6b, 6c, the midway part of the balance chain 31 is hooked over a first idler 33 and a second idler 35.
