To provide a parking locking device suppressing locking even if a driver performs erroneous operation in traveling of a vehicle or the like while suppressing increase of the number of parts.
A parking locking mechanism 10 is equipped with: a parking lock gear 20B relatively rotatably provided relative to the parking lock gear 20A and formed with a recession part 41B on a peripheral edge part; an elastically deformable connection member 30 for connecting the parking lock gears 20A, 20B; and a parking locking pole 21 provided advanceable/retreatable toward/from the parking locking gears 20A, 20B and made engageable with a third engagement part regulated by arranging a recessed part 41A and a recession part 41B in an axial direction of a rotation shaft 11. The connection member 30 urges the parking locking gears 20A, 20B such that the recessed parts 41A, 41B are arranged in the axial direction.
