To actualize a parking position management system which enables a user to know a parking position without increasing the scale of a device by installing a roadside machine nearby the entrance exit of a parking lot and sending vacancy numbers of the parking lot from the roadside machine to an on-vehicle unit by using a DSRC communication used by an ETC system.
This system has the roadside machine 20 which provides a parking position for the on-vehicle unit 10 when the vehicle enters the parking lot, the on-vehicle unit 10 which holds the parking position provided by the roadside machine 20 on an IC card 40, the IC card 40 which is inserted into and extracted from the on-vehicle unit 10 to enables the reading and writing of information, and a reentry management device 30 equipped with a display part 32 which displays the user's automobile position when the user reenters the parking lot. The IC card 40 holding the parking position is inserted into the reentry management device 30 to display the user's automobile position.
