Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device capable of setting a target parking position properly.SOLUTION: The parking support device comprises: an object detection sensor for detecting an object existing in the surroundings of a vehicle C; a parking space detection part for detecting a parking space for the vehicle C on the basis of the detection result of the object; an object end point detection part for detecting a first end point P1 on a parking space side of an object C1 positioned on one side of the parking space and a second end point P2 on the parking space side of an object C2 positioned on the other side of the parking space on the basis of the detection result of the object; and a parking target position setting part for setting a target parking position PL on the basis of the object's faces F1, F2 passing the end point which has a smaller distance to the vehicle C of the first and second end points P1, P2 when a distance D1 between the vehicle C and the first end point P1 is different from a distance D2 between the vehicle C and the second end point P2 on the basis of the detection result of the end points.
