Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device that can perform suitable parking support by forbidding parking support to make it difficult to leave the garage.SOLUTION: In the parking support device 1, a condition decision unit 21 determines whether own vehicle may become a self-propelling difficult condition after parking support based on time series measurement values of various sensors. When the vehicle condition decision unit 21 determines that a self-propelling difficult condition may occur after parking support, the parking support is forbidden. Also the effect of abnormal conditions of the vehicle is quantified, and parking support is permitted when the effect is settled in a deflection of a range not giving a significant effect for automatic parking, and when the effect is large, parking support is not permitted.
