Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support method and a parking support apparatus which enable a vehicle to travel accurately along a target route when moving the vehicle to a parking position.SOLUTION: A parking support method includes: setting target routes x0, x1 in order for a vehicle V1 to move from an initial position p1 to a target parking position p3, and setting at least one of a target vehicle speed and a target steering angle in order for the vehicle V1 to move along the target routes x0, x1; calculating a deviation amount between a present position of the vehicle V1 and a position at the target routes; calculating a correction amount of at least one of the target vehicle speed and target steering angle so as to reduce the deviation amount; and correcting at least one of the target vehicle speed and target steering angle on the basis of the calculated correction amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
