To provide a device for reserving a parking space for a handicapped person by preventing any person other than the physically handicapped person from parking his or her car in a parking space exclusive for the physically handicapped person with a wheelchair mark.

This parking system is provided with a flap board 7 for preventing the entry of a vehicle, an elevating device 6 for elevating or lowering the flap plate 7, a vehicle sensor 8 for sensing a parked vehicle, a signal receiving part 5 for receiving a parking request signal from a recognition medium 3; a control part 9 for controlling this system; and an identification part 10 for identifying a signal from the signal reception part 5, which are all installed in a parking space 1, wherein a parking request signal 4 to be transmitted by the recognition medium 3 is received by a signal receiving part 5, and transmitted through a control part 9 to an identification part 10. Then, when the parking request signal 4 is identified as that transmitted from a vehicle eligible for parking by the identification part 10, the flap board 7 is lowered by the elevating device 6, and the entry of the vehicle to the inside of the parking space 1 is accepted.
