Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component which is capable of effectively and surely shielding gaps left between the members of an electronic equipment case from electromagnetic waves of this frequencies for a technical reason and possessed of a shielding element which needs a very small space inside a casing. SOLUTION: A plate 1 with grooves 9 each provided to each of its edge faces 7 and 8 is proposed to shield a gap inside an electronic equipment casing from electromagnetic waves of high frequencies. A spring element 2 possessed of a fastening plate 12 is fixed inside the groove 9. A spring plate 13 equipped with a leg 21 and a contact is mounted on the fastening plate 12 at a right angle. The contact is bent inward, and a contact rib which comes into contact with the corresponding contact of an adjacent component is mounted on the contact.
