PURPOSE: To improve the degree of freedom for arrangement with one type of block by a method wherein point symmetrical shaped protuberance and recessed part, in which the protuberance of the other block fitted, are formed on a part holder block with the center as the reference, for a part holder of electronic components which are loaded on a print substrate.
CONSTITUTION: A block for a part feeder, which has two pairs of grooves 1 to hold the terminal of an electronic component, is provided. On this block, a first fitting protuberance 2 and a fitting recessed part 3 with a punctually symmetrical shape are provided in the axial direction with the center as the reference. In addition, in the vicinities of respective ends, where the fitting protuberance 2 and fitting recessed part 3 are formed, second fitting protuberances 4 and fitting recessed parts 5 are respectively formed. Then, the protuberances 2, 4, 4 of each block are appropriately fitted in the recessed parts 3, 5, 5 of another block to combine and connect the blocks to form a holder which can hold a desired quantity of parts.
