This part for a loom is the one composed of an iron-chromium- based alloy or an iron-chromium-nickel-based alloy and the iron-chromium-based alloy or the iron-chromium-nickel-based alloy has a structure comprising two phases of ferrite phase and martensitic phase. The iron-chromium-based alloy includes 10-20wt.% Cr. The iron-chromium-based alloy further includes 0.01-20wt.% at least one kind selected from among Mn, Co, Cu and Pt and 0.0001-1wt.% N. The iron-chromium-nickel-based alloy includes 10-30wt.% Cr and 0.01-15wt.% Ni.
