To eliminate a need for a work to be assembled to an ornament, reduce time and labor required for a mounting work, and fix a clip at a part, such as ornaments, without disregistration of the shape part of a clip with a member to be mounted, such as a body panel.

A part mounting structure 9 wherein a part 5, such as ornaments, is mounted on a member 7 to be mounted, such as a car body comprises a holder 2 fixed at the part 5 by fixing means 27 and 30; a first clip 3 consisting of a head part 11 and a shaft part 13 hanging down from the head part and having the head part held at a holder; and a second clip 6 consisting of a flange 15 and a hollow shaft part 17 hanging down from the flange 15, and provided on the inside of the hollow shaft part 17 with a means 18 to receive and lock the first clip shaft part 13, and on the outside of the hollow shaft part with a lock means 19 mounted on the member 7 to be mounted in cooperation with a flange. The holder 2 and the first clip 3 are integrally molded to a first clip head part 11 through a breakable thin section part 21.
