Title:
PARTIAL DISCHARGE DISCRIMINATING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2701635
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To automatically and quickly discriminate the occurrence of partial discharge by only fetching a high S/N frequency component against a detected signal and evaluating the magnitude, generating phase, and generating frequency of an output signal on a neural network.
CONSTITUTION: A detected pulse signal is inputted to a spectrum analyzer 6. A detection circuit 6' detects the output signal component corresponding to a separately decided frequency having a good S/N and inputs the output signal component to a partial discharge measuring instrument 7. Each cell 111-113 of the input layer 11 of a neural network 8 corresponds to a specific phase extent and amplitude extent of the pulses stored in the instrument 7. The number of pulses meeting the extents become the input value of each cell. When the value of each cell of the layer 11 is inputted, the values are evaluated at an intermediate layer 12 and output layer 13. The evaluated values (0-1) of the cells 131 and 132 of the output layer 13 are obtained. The occurrence of partial discharge is discriminated from the magnitudes of the evaluated values.
