To provide a pair of shorts unitedly knitted with a double needle line knitting machine, and having looseness on the front and back parts of a crotch part by devising a cutting form after knitting, and sewing a part.
The pair of shorts is obtained by knitting each a left half part 5a made of a trunk left part 2a and a left leg part 4a with front or back one needle line, and a right half part 5b made of a trunk right part 2b and a right leg part 4b with the other needle line, cylindrically knitting the trunk left part 2a and the trunk right part 2b by connecting in the front and back of a trunk part 2, separately knitting each the left leg part 4a and the right leg part 4b followed by cutting continuously to the ends of front and back connected parts 6 and 7, curving at least one of the front and back cutting hems 4a-1, 4a-2, 4b-1, and 4b-2 into a knitted fabric inner side of a connected knitted part continuing thereto, and sewing the cutting hems in the inside of a leg part so as to give looseness to front and back parts near a crotch part 3.
