To provide particles improved in charge amount for a display medium used for an information display panel, and an information display panel using the particles.
The particles for a display medium 31 used for an information display panel in which a display medium is enclosed between two facing substrates, at least one of which is transparent, and which displays information such as an image by moving the display medium are configured by burying microparticles 33 in mother particles 32. The microparticles 33 are formed by polymerizing monomers of binder resins composing the microparticles 33 in the presence of copolymers of a polymer block having compatibility with the binder resins and a polymer block having a charged functional group. The proportion of the polymer block having compatibility with the binder resins of the microparticles 33 to the polymer block having a charged functional group is 2/1-1/2.
