To provide particles for information display medium capable of maintaining electrostatic charge performance better than that in the prior art during use, and a panel for information display using the same.
The particles 31 for a display medium constitutes the display medium used for a panel for information display displaying information, such as an image by moving the display medium, by sealing the display medium formed as a particle group having optical reflectivity and electrostatic chargeability between two opposed substrates, at least one thereof being transparent, and applying an electric field to the display medium. The particles 31 for the display medium are obtained by compounding particulates 32 composed of a resin having electrostatic chargeable functional group in polymerizing a monomer of a binder resin constituting particles 31 for the display medium. The amount of compounding of the particulates 32 to the binder resin is 2 to 20 mass%.
