PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a particle and production method therefor in which, even kneaded with resin, irritation to operators is suppressed and the kneading work can reliably implemented; and a mixture, kneaded material and molded body produced therefrom.SOLUTION: Provided is a particle 1 comprising a core 2 and a shell 3 coating thereon, and in which the core 2 is obtained by mini-emulsion polymerizing a core raw material component containing capsaicin and a hydrophobic 1'st polymerizable vinyl monomer, and the shell 3 is obtained by seed emulsion polymerizing a shell raw material component containing a hydrophobic 2'nd polymerizable vinyl monomer, using the core 2 as a seed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
