Abstract:
To provide provides bilirubin derivative particles that comprise a bilirubin derivative and a metal.SOLUTION: A bilirubin derivative particle is provided. Such a bilirubin derivative particle contains a bilirubin derivative and a metal. The bilirubin derivative is formed by conjugating a hydrophilic molecule to bilirubin. The metal is in the form of a clustered metal particle. The bilirubin derivative particle is configured in the form in which the metal is located at the center and the bilirubin derivative surrounds the metal. A method for preparing a bilirubin derivative particle comprising the metal and the bilirubin derivative is provided. The method comprises the steps of: (a) conjugating bilirubin to a hydrophilic molecule to prepare the bilirubin derivative; and (b) coordinating the bilirubin derivative and the metal to prepare the bilirubin derivative particle having the metal encapsulated therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
