Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate filter capable of preventing the degradation of durability.SOLUTION: The particulate filter having a plurality of honeycomb segments integrated with one another for trapping particulate materials from exhaust gas flowing into each honeycomb segment and burning the trapped particulate materials includes an adhesion region for adhering adjacent ones of the plurality of honeycomb segments to each other with adhesive agent, and a non-adhesion region provided in a region ranging from a starting end as the end on the downstream side in the flowing direction of the exhaust gas to a terminal on the upstream side showing that the adhesive agent has a predetermined heatproof temperature or lower during burning the particulate materials, and formed as a space between the adjacent ones.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
