Abstract:
To provide a particulate matter removing filter having high mechanical and thermal strength, facilitating removing of fine particles, preventing discharging of ceramics fiber to the air, and saving a cost.
A large number of tubular filters 2 having different diameters are concentrically arranged to alternately arrange exhaust gas passages 3 and clean gas passages 4, and both ends of the tubular filters 2 group are sealed by heat resisting metallic covers 5, 6. On one cover 5, an exhaust gas inflow port 21 connecting to the exhaust gas passage 3 is provided. On the other cover 6, a clean gas outflow port 22 connecting to a clean gas passage 4 is provided.
