PURPOSE: To make it possible supply plural kinds with one unit of device by successively arbitrarily aligning plural kinds of the parts charged into a parts charging section before arriving at an outlet, discretely discriminating the parts at this outlet, sorting them to the assignment positions by each part and supplying the parts, piece by piece.
CONSTITUTION: The connectors parts (parts) varying in, for example, the lengths and numbers of pins are mixedly charged into the central part 7a of a vibration type parts feeder 7 of a parts charging means 1. The parts are vibrated, are moved along spiral passages 6 and are aligned in an irregular sequential state in a specified direction. The parts flow from an outlet passage 6a to the parts aligning rails 8 of a parts means 2 and stop by abutting against a stopper 8a. The characteristics of the top parts are read by a pair of characteristic detecting mechanisms 9a, 9b at this place and are compared with the previously stored patterns of the parts, by which the kinds of the top parts are decided. The top parts are taken out by a lifting device 12 and are classified to the prescribed positions. The next and succeeding parts are handled in the same manner.
