PURPOSE: To prevent a multiplicity of pages from being turned simultaneously, by providing a side wall of a page-turning part of a passbook printer with an air hole for blowing an air flow and a protrusible insert pin, and operating the insert pin in conjunction with the feeding of a passbook and a pressing operation of a pressing rubber under the control of a controller.

CONSTITUTION: An air flow is ejected from an air hole 18 when a page to be turned is fed upward past the air hole 18. Simultaneously with the ejection, pressing by a pressing rubber 14 is stopped, whereby the page to be turned is separated from the other pages, and is floated in the air flow. Next, an insert pin 19 is protruded from a side wall to the lower side of the page being floated to be turned, then the ejection of the air flow is stopped, and only the feeding of the passbook is continued. The page is turned under the functions of the insert pin 19 being protruded and the feeding of the passbook.
