To provide a passenger conveyer capable of reducing a working load in the replacement work of a brush and attaching/detaching work for a step by devising the attaching structure of a dress guard to a skirt guard capable of enhancing working efficiency, and capable of shortening a working time.
The dress guard 10 includes a plurality of holder attaching bodies 21 prepared as long bodies having an upper wall face 21c recessed with an engagement groove 21f on the upper wall face 21c, and attached to the skirt guard 6 with a space capable of passing the step 3 in at least one part, a plurality of brush holders 30 prepared as long bodies having a brush attaching wall 30a, an upper wall 30b projected with an engagement protrusion 30d and a lower wall 30c, and attached to the holder attaching bodies 21 by making the engagement protrusion 30d engaged with the engagement groove 21f, a holder energizing means 23 for generating an engagement force of the engagement protrusion 30d with the engagement groove 21f, and an engagement releasing force transmitting means 24 for nullifying the engagement force of the engagement protrusion 30d with the engagement groove 21f.
