PURPOSE: To carry a baggage of a passenger positioned on a step with a simple structure, in a passenger conveyer provided with an inner deck at the side part of the step which carries the passenger, by mounting rolling elements on which the load can be placed onto the top of the inner deck, and disposing the rolling elements along the traveling direction of the passenger.

CONSTITUTION: Rolling elements on which a baggage 5 of a passenger can be placed, such as rollers 9, are disposed on the top of an inner deck 2. When the passenger who holds the baggage 5 gets on a step 1, he may place the load 5 on the rollers 9 and clamp a part of baggage 5. By the movement of the passenger with the movement of the step 1, the baggage 5 moves on the rollers along the traveling direction of the passenger. Therefore, only disposing the rollers 9 on the inner deck 2 can do work without requiring any driving source or the like in the rollers 9, so it is provide a simple structure at a low manufacturing cost.
