Abstract:
To accurately detect the abnormality of a passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: This passenger conveyor is for conveying a user from a departure floor to a destination floor, and comprises: a plurality of footsteps; a com; a demarcation; a driving device; a photographing device; and a control device. The footsteps are installed between the departure floor and the destination floor, and connected to each other by a pair of sprockets. The com is provided to the end of a landing board above each of the sprockets, and disposed in non-contact with the upper surface of each of the footsteps. The demarcation is provided to a boundary between the upper surfaces of the footsteps and a riser, and colored differently from the com. The driving device drives the footsteps. The photographing device photographs the footsteps. The control device positions the demarcation in the com via the driving device, and photographs the com by the photographing device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
