Abstract:
To provide a passenger conveyor where the number of passengers boarding can be counted easily and accurately.
A passenger conveyor comprises: a foot step 30; a pair of right and left handrail 36 and 36 disposed on both sides of the foot step 30; an R sensor 54 and an L sensor 56 disposed on the pair of right and left handrail 36 and 36 respectively; and a control device 50 for counting the number of passengers on the basis of distance L, which can detect the passengers, of the R sensor 54 and the L sensor 56.
